Lights at Temple Square

The day after Christmas we headed to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square.  Kevin had never been and Lucas was thrilled to go see more Christmas lights.  On the way down we stopped and saw Kevin's grandparents in Ogden.

Kevin, Lucas and I enjoyed seeing the lights and the Nativity scene  at Temple Square.  It was so beautiful! It was really cold, but very beautiful.  Emily, on the other hand was miserable.  She didn't want to keep her hands covered so her hands were really cold! We ended up only staying for about 45 minutes due to Emily crying and being upset.  It was just long enough for us to walk around the inside of temple square and see the nativity scene, and then to walk around the reflecting pond.  After that Emily was so sad that we went back to the car.

Kevin, Lucas and I enjoyed seeing all the lights and hanging out at Temple Square. By the end though Emily was so ready to be home! We'll have to go again next year so we can go into the north visitor's center and see the Christus and all the different Nativity scenes from around the world.
